How can engineering employers get involved with the GEL program?+-

Engineering company representatives can get involved by participating as guests during our weekly Engineering Leadership Labs. We also seek experienced engineers in industry to serve as mentors to our current students.

How can I connect to GEL students as an engineering employer?+-

Engineering employers can engage with students in the following ways:

  • Employers can share internship and full-time engineering positions with a diverse pool of over 160 students from MIT and Wellesley College
  • Engineering representatives at company can attend and participate in Engineering Leadership Labs
  • Engineering leaders at company can serve as mentors and support GEL students’ personal and professional development
  • Employers receive free advertising for their recruiting events at MIT to GEL students
What are the benefits of becoming a GEL sponsor?+-

GEL sponsors MUST be engineering specific employers to receive premium access to our students. We invite GEL sponsors to engage with students in the following ways:

  • Receive sole sponsorship of a unique GEL Engineering Leadership Lab course session
  • Host exclusive event for GEL students (e.g., Industry Lunch & Learn)
  • Host event for GEL students, alumni, and company’s preferred targeted engineering majors more broadly across MIT
  • Become an annual corporate sponsor of our Engineering Leadership Labs (Annual sponsors are given sole sponsorship of two labs during the year and a company branded luncheon event)
